The computer CPU benchmarks page allows you to see the ratings for a single processor, compare two or more processors with a few clicks, or even a whole range of chips. If you want to get about any processor's technical specifications going back decades, then CPU World is the place to visit. So, when you have up to three, press the Comparison button in the box to the right. Just look into the search box for the CPU in the list or type part of the model name, hover over its list entry, and click Compare.

The Design List is also the page that allows up to three separate processors to be compared directly. The Mega List is useful for sorting by type of socket or getting quick clock speed information while the searchable Model List is a complete list of all CPU scores where you can easily filter by rank, performance, value or alphabetical order. For graphics cards, hard drives, RAM and mobile devices, there are also other tables. Scores are based on their own performance test suite and several charts are based on high/mid/low end, weight, single threads, types of sockets and power output. Passmark is perhaps the other most popular benchmarking program in addition to the Futuremark packages. Here we have 5 websites listing the results of the CPU benchmark and enabling direct comparisons among processors This causes an issue because finding the right CPU that offers the best value or quality you're looking for becomes more challenging.Ī simple solution is to use a website that lists the performance of the processor and allows you to directly compare different processors, such as the current and another CPU, so it is much easier to see what kind of improvements you could get. The problem with purchasing or studying a CPU is that hundreds of people like Intel and AMD are on sale at any given time, and thousands have been published in recent decades.

Most games would run faster, it would take less time to process video and audio, Windows would generally work better, and resource-intensive tasks would be done faster. Since the processor is a computer's main core, it makes sense for an improved CPU to help improve the overall performance. There are many hardware components that can boost a computer's performance, such as an SSD, more or faster memory, or the CPU (Central Processing Unit).

WEI is easy, pre-installed and free, that's why it is good for basic stuff.Everybody needs their PC or laptop to be better, and the obvious solution is to go out and buy a new computer or upgrade the components in the device that you actually own.

Does it have a free database website like Passmark with They are a cool site though and I do sometimes go look at them myself.ģDmark isn't free, I don't own it and most people on these forums don't either. They use different benchmarks for almost every comparison.

For what it's worth, CPU Boss and GPU Boss sometimes use Passmark.Īlso they do not consistantly use the same benchamrks for all their comparisons so this leads me to worry that they may be fudging their results by selectively displaying only the results they want to convey. When comparing CPUs they pretty much covers everything, there are also GPUboss and SSDboss.Īnd yeah I do enjoy a good debate, but dont think I do it just to contradict you. Gaming wise, 3Dmark is the benchmark to use, I'm not saying that passmark is a bad benchmark, but simply measuring raw power wont give you an idea on how it will perform in games, by the logic of that bench, those Xeons would blow everything out of water but then again they get beaten by far cheaper cpus, simply for having less more optimized cores. It maybe was a bug, after the refresh it scored 7.9. What in your opinion is a good benchmarking suite? Or do you just enjoy debating me? I think you or someone else hacked it, you have a virus or a bug. Αναρτήθηκε αρχικά από Rove:Well I looked online and no one else scores 7.9 with that CPU.
